Cycling around the World for a good Cause
Sven Marx, who turned 50 on 12.05.2017, had promised himself - after overcoming two life threatening illnesses - a very special birthday present , that, if he is still alive at fifty, he would cycle around the world.
And that’s what he did. Sven started his tour in April 2017 in Berlin. His route has taken him so far to Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Finland, Russia, Mongolia, Japan, Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, Malaysia, and he will continue onwards to Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, USA, Cuba, Canada, Morocco, Portugal, Spain, France, England, Holland and back to Berlin.
After visiting the German Embassy in Kuala Lumpur on 13 November, he will be on his way to Singapore.
Mr. Marx cycles for a good cause, being handicapped himself after surviving a brain tumor, he supports the non-profit organization “Inclusion needs Action”, and wherever he goes, he tries to draw attention to the issue of including handicapped people into our “normal” lives by working together with associations who support handicapped people.
We wish Sven Marx a safe journey!
