A Funky Friday with SLIXS at the German Residence

The SLIXS – formerly known as Stouxingers – are an internationally known vocal groove band, singing a cappella, consisting of six members. They have been touring in Europe and Asia, performing a special mix of Jazz, Pop, R&B, singing in English, French and in their own “special” language. In 2008, they won the CARA Award, which is like an a capella “Grammy”.

The group brought the house down during their concert at the Residence of the German Ambassador at the beginning of May. The VIP guests, university students and other invited guests greatly enjoyed the group's perfomance, asking for encores!

SLIXS were on tour in Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Miri and Brunei, where they had sold out concerts everywhere.
