New Malaysian-German Agreement on Double Taxation as of 1st January 2011!

On 23 February 2010 the Deputy Minister of Finance II, Senator Datuk Dr. Awang, and the German Ambassador, Dr. Guenter Gruber, signed an agreement for the avoidance of double taxation and the prevention of fiscal evasion with respect to taxes on income (DTA). The Double Taxation agreement entered into force on December 21, 2010 and will be applied as of January 1, 2011.
