Quality matters!

"Everything has to be tested to ensure consistent quality. That is an important step to achieve a high-income society", Ambassador Dr. Guenter Gruber pointed out in his speech at the opening of the Zwick Roell-AG - testXpo - during the 8th Asian Forum for Materials Testing, which the Ambassador attended together with Dato Ir. Hj. Yahaya Ahmad, President and CEO of SIRIM, on 31 March 2011.

The 8th Asian Forum for Materials Testing was held for the first time in Malaysia.
SIRIM, the national institute for industrial research and technology innovation, the leading player in the field of quality control in Malaysia, hosted the event, which was put together by Zwick Roell, a German company with a history that goes back more than 150 years and which is an innovative world leader in the provision of systems for materials testing.
Over 100 participants were expected to attend the two day event, leaders from industry - plastics, metals, automotives, and academia, to discuss product innovations with view of fulfilling current international standards in metal and plastics quality control and to attend talks and workshops held by renowned specialists.
