Volkswagen hosts German Business Roundtable
Many new and familiar faces met up on 22 September 2011 at Wisma Volkswagen in Bangsar, on the occasion of the „German Business Roundtable“, a regular event organised by the Economics Department of the Embassy.
Economic Counsellor, Dr. Ernst Roeder-Messell, welcomed the numerous guests, Ambassador Dr. Gruber gave a short speech, which was followed by an introduction to the future plans of Volkswagen in Malaysia, presented by the new Managing Director, Mr. Ricky Tay. Volkswagen's ambitious target is to gain 10 % of the automobile market share in Malaysia.
The guests continued their lively conversations and networking over good food and drinks.
