From China with Love - A short History of Chinese Postcards
Thomas Brandt, avid collector of postcards from Asia, as well as General Manager of the Malaysian-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, entertained about 150 guests with a presentation of the most beautiful and interesting postcards from his vast collection, which are also contained in his coffee table book “China in Those Days”.
The event took place in the evening of 17 January 2012, in the Residence of the German Ambassador, timed to coincide with the Chinese New Year celebrations, starting next week.
The invitations to this special German-Chinese event had been sent out by Ambassador Dr. Guenter Gruber, Allianz (Malaysia) Berhad, BMW Group Malaysia and RSM RKT Group. German beer and Chinese food made for lively discussions after the presentation.
