The MSRI Elham Project empowers Refugee Women

July 2017. Ambassador Michael was delighted that one of his last official acts was the handing over of a cheque to the two representatives from the Malaysian Social Research Institute (MSRI), Ms. Siti and Ms. Azeeza to fund the MSRI Elham project. The Elham project aims to support the skills and employment development of refugee women, living in Malaysia.
Some parts of the funds will be used for renovation and upgrading works at the MSRI-run school and health clinic as well.

MSRI is a non-governmental organisation currently dedicated to providing education, health, livelihood and emergency programmes to refugees and asylum seekers from minority communities living in Malaysia.
